We are moving on to Phase 2, and it is time to ‘Create The Court’!

Phase 2 will include repurposing part of the old tennis court space to the north of the school to include a custom sized 50′ x 64′ basketball court, complete with two regulation sized three point lines and accessible bleacher seating.
We will be applying for grants, and students will be fundraising throughout the 2025/26 school year to build the court during summer 2026. This accessible court will be a welcome addition to our community, offering a space for our youth and adults to enjoy shooting some hoops together or practice their jump shot on their own. Approximate cost of resurfacing the court is $55,100. You can help us ‘Create The Court’ by making a donation to help cover the cost of one or numerous of the 551 squares, valued at $100 each.

The Playground Committee is excited to be partnering with the Boissevain Pickleball Association to also potentially add two pickleball courts to the space, creating a true multi-sport court for the community of Boissevain. Elaine Vandoorne and Kathy Wilkinson are working on raising the $22,000 needed to add the pickleball courts to this space. Reach out to Elaine at 204-534-7835 if you would like to contribute to bringing outdoor pickleball courts to Boissevain.
