We are moving on to Phase 2, and it is time to ‘Create The Court’!

Phase 2 will include repurposing part of the old tennis court space to the north of the school to create a multi-sport court for our community. This space will include two pickleball courts along with a custom sized 50′ x 64′ basketball court, complete with two regulation sized three point lines and accessible bleacher seating.
We will be applying for grants, and students will be fundraising throughout the 2025/26 school year to build the court during summer 2026. This accessible court will be a welcome addition to our community, offering a space for our youth and adults to enjoy shooting some hoops together or practice their jump shot on their own, or play a round of pickleball. We have 62 squares left that need to be purchased at a cost of $100 each ($6,200) to build the court space this summer. You can help us ‘Create The Court’ by making a donation to help cover the cost of one or numerous of the squares, valued at $100 each.
The Playground Committee is excited to have partnered with the Boissevain Pickleball Association to add the two pickleball courts to the space, creating a true multi-sport court for the community of Boissevain. Reach out to Elaine Vandoorne at 204-534-7835 if you would like to contribute to bringing the outdoor pickleball courts to Boissevain.
