Follow Boissevain School Playground
In September 2023 the Boissevain School Parent Advisory Council created a Playground sub-committee to start planning and fundraising for new playground spaces at Boissevain School.
Our mission is to create inclusive, accessible, fun, and engaging playground spaces for everyone at Boissevain school, members of our community, and visitors to Boissevain, MB.
Phase 1 Middle Years Playground
Completed Summer 2025!
With dedicated volunteer support, the Middle Years playground was transformed into a vibrant and inclusive play space for our community. Designed to include both accessible and challenging pieces of equipment for older youth to enjoy.

Phase 2 – High School Space
Currently there is no designated outdoor area for the High School students. Our goal is to repurpose the old tennis courts to the north of the school, and create a basketball court, pickleball courts and outdoor seating area, for the entire community to enjoy.

Phase 3 – Primary Playground
The current primary playground is approximately 120 feet x 110 feet with a pea gravel base. Most of the equipment on the primary playground dates back to 1970, with a wooden structure being built around 1990, and a basic climber with slide being added in 2003. Routine repairs have been done as needed, but many pieces do not meet current code requirements and will need to be removed due to safety hazards/concerns.
